CAPABILITY STATEMENT- LINGARD LTD.

BACKGROUND
The Company was established in 1992 by its current Managing director Chris Lingard B.Eng C.Eng. MICE. Since that time its experienced core workforce of a dozen or so skilled tradesman have carried out a large number of specialised concrete repair and water related projects in the Public and Private sector, as detailed on the list of completed projects. These have ranged from a few hundred pounds in value to £500k.

The annual turnover is currently approaching £1Million Whilst Lingard Ltd. prides itself in being a versatile company in its willingness to tackle any job, no matter how difficult or how small, its aim is to expand its services in water and marine related works. Current and past Clients variously include Kirklees Metropolitan District Council, Yorkshire Water Services Ltd., The University of Leeds, Gleesons Ltd., J.N. Bentley Ltd., Galliford Ltd., Land Securities Trillium Ltd., and Town Centre Securities Ltd., amongst others detailed on its Client schedule list.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Lingard Ltd. have a positive and proactive approach to Health and Safety. The company has been fortunate to have experienced only two," over 3 day" reportable incidents since formation over 10 years ago and no notifiable major injuries to either its own employees or subcontractors. This excellent track record of achievement and proactive approach to safety management, is further borne out by the corresponding low number of recorded accident book entries of minor injuries. All its workforce have received significant Health and Safety training.

OUALITY & ENVIRONMENT
Whilst the company regards its staff and Health and Safety matters as a prime concern of its business objectives, it has an equal concern and priority for the quality of its services and care for The Environment .The Management systems in place reflect these aims which would qualify for compliance with the requirements of achieving ISO 9001 accreditation. The company is currently evaluating the business impact of moving towards formal registration as part of reassessing its business strategy for future expansion. .
